About Timeproof Games

Short-form gameplay videos celebrating games that have stood the test of time, and this site to find your next one.

Who is behind it

I am Albert. I was born in the 1980s, started on the Atari 2600, the NES and the ZX Spectrum, and have kept playing ever since.

In 2011 I started NoSoloBits with Alex, a friend from university. It is a video game site focused on retro games, where I wrote reviews. To go with it I began making short videos, and they ended up as the main content of my profile. In 2026 that profile was renamed Timeproof Games, and today I run it on my own: I make the videos on the channel and run this site.

How a game gets in

A game joins the catalogue once it has had time to prove itself, and when players, critics and store buyers still rate it highly. The catalogue is ordered by that score, not by my opinion.
