Timeproof Games keeps things simple: no accounts, no cookies, and no personal data unless you choose to subscribe to the weekly digest.

If you subscribe to the weekly digest, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the service that sends it. You will receive a confirmation email first, and nothing is sent until you confirm. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address from the list. The address is used only to send the digest, and it is never shared or sold.

Analytics

The site uses Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service that sets no cookies and collects no personal data. It records page views, referrers and anonymous interaction events (such as which store a deal card points to), so there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Affiliate links

Links to partner stores (GOG, Fanatical, ININ Games) are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking one, Timeproof Games may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links go through this site first and then to the store, which lets the store attribute the sale. What happens on the store's own site is covered by that store's privacy policy.
