Is it still worth playing?
Lara Croft moves one step at a time as a puzzle piece through levels made of connected nodes, in this 2015 turn based puzzle spin off of Tomb Raider from Square Enix Montreal. After each step the environment takes its turn, so enemies and hazards move one node at a time, and you plan around them. Vertical movement with steps, cliff faces and climbable terrain was added over its predecessor, Hitman Go. The game has five chapters and forty levels, and later tools include a torch that scares enemies and a spear that attacks from range. The angular, cel shaded style is a tribute to the first Tomb Raider games. An optional hint system guides you step by step, and hidden jewels and relics unlock costumes. The Mirror of Spirits expansion adds 11 levels and a Spirit Lara who moves beside the real one. Puzzles that ask for planning instead of reflexes still suit short sessions.
