Is it still worth playing?

You shoot down planes, helicopters and tanks and rescue civilians on the ground, in this vertical shoot em up from the Polish developer Infinite Dreams. It has a weapon upgrade system and large end of stage bosses. There are nine stages, and reaching the end of one is not enough to move on, since extra missions such as saving civilians or destroying a share of the enemies earn medals and unlock new areas. Between missions you spend stars in the hangar on weapons, more health and other upgrades, and dying keeps your stars. Clearing every challenge of a stage unlocks a harder difficulty. A second player can join locally as a wingman, and a tournament is available each weekend. The cycle of upgrading and trying again is still the core of the game.
