Arma 3 2013

Is it still worth playing?

An open world tactical shooter simulation from Bohemia Interactive, the third main Arma game, released in 2013 and set in the mid 2030s on the fictional Mediterranean islands of Altis and Stratis. Its plot is told through several episodic single player and co-op campaigns, most of them about the 2035 Altis Incident, a war between NATO and the CSAT alliance. The maps have photorealistic terrain and water, and expansions add the Pacific archipelago of Tanoa, the island of Malden, the country of Livonia and other settings. The Zeus interface lets a player act as a real time game master in multiplayer, and the Steam Workshop hosts more than 50,000 player made items. Realism and a huge sandbox still leave you to plan your own operation.
