Takkar rises from a hunter to the leader of a tribe by his gift for taming animals in Oros, a valley in the Carpathians. It is a 2016 game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows that takes Far Cry back to 10,000 BC. The guns are gone: spears, clubs and bows, with predators tamed to fight beside you and an owl sent ahead to scout, in a world with a day and a night and survival to mind. Three dialects were built from Proto-Indo-European for the tribes, and Jason Graves scored it on percussion, stone, clay and an Aztec death whistle. The taming still makes the heaviest weapon a predator you made a friend of.
