Is it still worth playing?
You command HERCULANs, two legged war machines, for the Unitech Corporation against the Cybrids, machines of their own, in this 1996 tactics game for Windows set in the Metaltech universe. The pilots are BioDerms, genetically engineered synthetic people you customize and send into the fray, linked to their machines. It is turn based and isometric: missions generated at random on Cybrid planets, rank earned by finishing them, ore mined for income and credits for every kill and every bonus, spent on better machines and parts. A sequel followed in 1998, and it came to GOG in 2019. The BioDerms are still as much equipment as the machines they pilot, built and spent in the same way.
