Is it still worth playing?

You defend one or more Rifts against waves of orc armies, in this 2012 trap based tower defense game from Robot Entertainment, the sequel to Orcs Must Die! You play the War Mage or the Sorceress. Between waves you have time to recover and place more traps, and every few waves a longer break lets you decide when to release the next one. You choose traps, spells and equipment from your Spellbook, and traps can sit on the ground, walls or ceilings, while Guardians such as archers or knights act on their own. Placing traps costs in game currency from kills, coins and bonuses, and you can fight directly with weapons and magic that uses mana. The main addition over the first game is cooperative play. Skulls earned by replaying levels buy upgrades that can be refunded without limit, so you can test different setups. A trap in the right place still does more than a sword.
