From the Spanish Civil War in 1938 to battles that never happened in 1946, this 1997 wargame for Windows lets you command a Wehrmacht officer's forces, the Soviet Army or the Allies. It is the second Panzer General. The map is hexes, a unit is a battalion, a regiment or a squadron, and there are eight kinds, each with its movement, its line of sight and its attacks. Units gain experience in battle and are upgraded to newer equipment, and prestige, the currency, buys more. The prestige still means the army you bring to the next battle is the one you earned in the last.
