About this game
Rockstar's 2010 western, set in 1911, when the frontier is closing and the men who live off it are running out of country. Dead Eye slows time so you can paint shots onto a body and then watch them all land at once. An honour meter watches what you do, so hanging thieves and helping strangers changes how towns greet you and whether you have a price on your head. Things happen on the road without being missions: an ambush, a man asking for a horse, a cougar. Riding somewhere is never only travel, because the road keeps producing something.
