Is it still worth playing?
You rule as a medieval king and try to make your reign last as long as possible, in this 2016 strategy game from Nerial. Advisers come to you with petitions and questions, shown as cards, and you choose between two responses, which affects one or more of the four aspects of the kingdom. If one of them becomes too unbalanced the game ends and you start another reign with a new monarch. To win, you have to break a curse created by the Devil, who visits the king across several reigns. The developers were inspired by the dating app Tinder, and the writing, by François Alliot, was influenced by the French literary movement Oulipo. It began on Android, iOS and computers. Four meters track the church, the citizens, the military and the economy, and each decision passes one year. Two choices on each card still make every decision quick.
