It is 2050, and Tex Murphy wakes after a bash on the head with seven years gone from his memory and his love interest missing. The case is his own past, through murders, double crosses and the lost inventions of Nikola Tesla. This adventure for Windows and the Mac, released in May 2014, is the detective's return after the makers won the rights back in 2008 and raised 612,489 dollars on Kickstarter and PayPal, and it resolves the cliffhanger of 1998's Overseer. It is first person in 3D rooms, with clues, items, logic puzzles and conversations that branch towards several endings, and more than five and a half hours of film. The seven years are still a detective solving his own missing time, with the actors back on screen.
