About this game

Nintendo's 2013 3DS Zelda, set on the same Hyrule map as A Link to the Past and built to open it up. Link can press himself into a wall and move along it as a painting, which is how you cross a gap, get round a hazard or slip into the other world. The items are not in the dungeons any more. A merchant called Ravio rents you almost all of them inside an hour, they run off a shared meter that refills on its own, and if you die he takes the lot back. So the dungeons can be done in nearly any order, and you arrive at one having decided what to bring rather than finding out what you were handed. The merging changes what a wall is for, and you spend the rest of the game looking at every wall for a way round.
