Is it still worth playing?
White Bomberman has to rescue Lisa, the kidnapped daughter of his inventor, from the castle of Black Bomberman, in this 1990 action maze game from Hudson Soft for the TurboGrafx-16. The single player game has eight worlds of eight stages, each a maze of blocks where you use bombs to clear a path, defeat every enemy and uncover the hidden exit. Each stage hides a power up under a block, and the eighth stage of each world is a boss battle. Bosses fight in mazes without soft blocks. Up to five players can compete with a Multitap, and enemies from the single player game fill any empty places. Skull Mode adds items with random negative effects, such as slowness or bombs dropping on their own. It was released as Dyna Blaster in Europe, and it is considered the first game with last man standing gameplay. A maze, a bomb and four friends are still all it takes.
