Is it still worth playing?

Solo Nobre is a city on the colony world of Novo Solo whose dictator has died, and you are a mercenary pilot hired to break it for the corporations coming in. It is a 2016 isometric game for Windows, the Mac and Linux. It is real time tactics and shooting, with a campaign and a Freelance mode in which you choose pilot, vehicle and guns for runs that scale, against three factions built around armor, speed and shields. Noise draws enemies in, and the controls and difficulty are daunting. Buildings and civilians are there to be destroyed, and you are paid for it. The brothers Hugh and Jack Monahan funded it themselves from 2011 on an engine of their own, and it was relaunched in 2017 as the Up-Armored Edition. The city is still a town you are paid to flatten.
