Is it still worth playing?

A cat king and a dog king have been thrown off their thrones and go to take their kingdoms back together. It is a 2019 action role playing game for iOS, the Mac, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One and Switch, a follow up to 2017's Cat Quest. It turns out to be a story about who the usurpers really are, with a spirit called Kirry pulling strings and Aelius behind it. You play alone, switching between the two, or with a friend in local co-op, with attacks, spells and dodges, melee weapons or magic ones that fire at range, across two lands of towns, dungeons and enemies, with side quests beside the main one. It keeps the first game's simplicity, in bite sized sessions. The two of them are still a cat and a dog, with the friend holding the dog.
