Is it still worth playing?

A 2020 first person action RPG set in Night City, a dystopian metropolis in California, where the mercenary V ends up with a chip holding the mind of Johnny Silverhand, a rocker turned terrorist. As Johnny's mind starts overwriting V's, the two have to work together to save V's life. You choose V's looks and one of three life paths, Nomad, Street Kid or Corpo, which sets the background and the opening mission. Five attributes let you build V for guns, stealth, hacking or blades, and skills improve as you use them. The city is dense with traffic and crowds that run from danger, and fixers offer side jobs and gigs, such as catching wanted criminals. The game launched full of bugs, and later updates fixed the crashes and reworked the perks. Played now, in its updated form, Night City is the draw, a dense city full of side jobs to take on in whichever way you built V.
