Is it still worth playing?
A prince flees the invasion of his kingdom by an empire that wants to revive the dark god Ahriman, in this 1992 Game Gear role-playing game. He is joined by Saleem, a ship captain's son whose Dance damages all attacking enemies, and by a Genie, the party's only magic user. The Genie does not gain levels in combat, and instead you spend gold on his lamp to raise his stats. It is based on One Thousand and One Nights, with an overhead view, villages with shops and places to rest, and random turn based encounters. There are no character portraits, combat backgrounds or combat animation, and the prince stands in for the whole party. It was one of the few original role playing games made for the Game Gear, and it autosaves. A genie you grow with gold instead of battles still gives the party a choice about where its money goes.
