Is it still worth playing?
The Builder is sent to rekindle mankind's imagination in Alefgard, the world of the first Dragon Quest, in this 2016 building adventure for the PlayStation. The story follows an ending in which the hero accepted the Dragonlord's offer and lost, and monsters took over. You build towns out of blocks, starting with dirt and straw and moving to steel walls, and a town levels up as it is built and has rooms added. A day and night cycle brings stronger monsters at night, and you have to eat. Each chapter has its own story and characters, and villagers give set quests. Gathering materials unlocks recipes. Fighting is a single swipe, and you move away to avoid attacks. Warping to a new chapter removes your items and equipment, and only recipes carry over. Towns that grow with every room you add still give each chapter something to build toward.
