Is it still worth playing?
A hero searches for their father, who left them one of the seventy seven magical MAGI stones, across worlds linked by the Pillar of Sky, in this 1990 role playing game for the Game Boy. You lead a party of four seen from above through towns, castles and caves, with random encounters and turn based battles, and humans, monsters and robots can join. Character attributes rise at random after a victory, and the game reports each gain at the end of the battle. A robot's stats come entirely from its equipment, and any weapon it equips loses half its durability, though sleeping at an inn repairs it. New worlds unlock as you go, and temporary fifth party members join for certain events. A journal that records what you learn and a save anywhere outside combat still make it easy to pick up.
