Is it still worth playing?

A point and click adventure developed by Clifftop Games and published by Raw Fury, set in the 1990s. Kathy, a journalism student who rides a chopper, returns to her small hometown, Conwell Springs, to look into the death of her grandfather Joseph, which was ruled natural, while facing her troubled past. In town she finds a tape from Joseph in the police archives and joins a case he was investigating, a child painter who drowned in 1975 and whose artwork was stolen. The story is a mystery in the manner of Twin Peaks, in a mundane town, and the game is open about that influence. Dave Gilbert of Wadjet Eye Games was the voice director. A sequel, Kathy Rain 2: Soothsayer, was released in 2025. A mystery told at the pace of a small town is still easy to follow.
