Is it still worth playing?
In this 2010 adventure game for the Nintendo DS, Kyle Hyde looks into a new mystery in Los Angeles in 1980. He faces eviction from the Cape West Apartments, and it is set a year after Hotel Dusk: Room 215. You hold the DS sideways like a book. The touch screen shows a map and a memo pad for notes, the top screen shows your location in 3D, and the touch screen is also used for jigsaw puzzles and even knocking on a door. A new Ignore option lets you skip lines of questioning, but skipping too many, or too few, can cause an early game over, and so can saying the wrong thing. After each chapter you clear, a new chapter of a companion novel unlocks. It is slower than other DS games, with a lot of text, and it was never released in North America. Questioning you can choose to skip, and a novel that fills in each chapter, still reward patience.
