Is it still worth playing?
The 2012 sequel to Lego Batman, in which Batman and Robin team up with Superman to stop the Joker and Lex Luthor, who needs the Joker to rig his run for president. It was the first Lego game by Traveller's Tales with spoken dialogue and an open world. Gotham City can be explored freely, in the Batmobile and other vehicles, with civilians to rescue, villains to unlock and 250 gold bricks to find. The story runs fifteen levels of platforming, puzzles and on rails shooting, and finished levels can be replayed in Free Play. No character has every power, so you keep switching: Batman has a suit that resists electricity, Robin swings on poles, and Superman flies and fires lasers from his eyes. A second player shares the screen in the levels, and the screen splits in the open world. Its Gotham is the reason to come back today, an open city full of characters to unlock and bricks to find.
