Is it still worth playing?

The whole Earth, built from Bing Maps satellite data, is the map of this 2020 flight simulator for Windows, the sequel to Flight Simulator X. Cloud computing turns that data into 3D buildings and terrain, more than 37,000 airports can be flown to, and some places were modelled by hand. Weather and air traffic can follow the real world at that moment, or you can set your own, and the wind flows over hills and mountains. A tutorial teaches the controls and instruments. Landing challenges at well known airports grade your touchdown, and bush trips are long flights over Nevada, Patagonia and the Balkans. An air traffic controller and a co-pilot can handle checklists and requests, and assists show you where to taxi. Any flight is worth taking now, since the whole planet is there to cross, in the weather and at the hour you choose.
