Is it still worth playing?

A 2020 life simulation for the Nintendo Switch: after buying a getaway package from Tom Nook, you move to a deserted island and turn it into a village of animal neighbors. It runs on the real clock, and the seasons follow your own hemisphere, so some fish, bugs and flowers only appear at certain times of the year. You gather wood, stone and fruit and craft items and furniture from recipes at a workbench, and you catch bugs and fish, plant trees and flowers, and dive for sea creatures. Small tasks earn Nook Miles, which buy rewards and flights to small random islands with new resources and villagers. Later you choose where the shops, the museum and the homes go, and even reshape the land. Up to four can play on one console, and eight online. Played a little every day, the island is still the reason to come back: it changes with the real seasons and takes the shape you give it.
