Is it still worth playing?

A 2006 flight simulator for Windows, the tenth in the Microsoft series, in which you can fly anything from a glider or a light experimental plane to jumbo jets. The standard edition has 18 aircraft, 28 detailed cities and more than 24,000 airports, with navigation aids, GPS and airways, and the scenery below matches the part of the world you are flying over. An air traffic control system handles your flights, and the weather can follow real conditions. Missions give you set tasks with specific aircraft. A Steam Edition from 2014 runs on later versions of Windows and moved the multiplayer to Steam. Its range still makes it worth flying today, from a glider to a jumbo jet, with real weather and air traffic control across thousands of airports.
