Is it still worth playing?

The Hanseatic League of the 1300s is the setting, the trade of the northern seas, and you start as a small trader in this trading game for Windows, Patrician II of 2000 with its expansion folded in. Offices open in the League's towns, ships are bought and sailed, grain, timber and cloth are produced and carried to where they are short, and warehouses and workshops build up your position, with roads, hospitals and schools to earn reputation toward the chair of Lord Mayor. A ladder of ranks climbs from shopkeeper to alderman, the League's head. The honest road is one road, and you can also become a pirate or a famous pirate killer. Patrician IV followed in 2010. The ladder still leads to the chair at the head of the League, and the choice is which road gets you there.
