A crossover between the Puyo Puyo series and Tetris, in a 2014 puzzle game from Sega CS2 with gameplay modes that mix both styles. In the Puyo style, colored blobs called Puyos fall from the top of the screen, and you rotate and place them and pop them by matching four or more of the same color. By arranging them carefully you can perform chain combos that earn more points. The Tetris style has you place falling pieces to complete lines. The game includes characters modeled and named after the seven Tetrominos. It adopts the guidelines of modern Tetris games, so the rotation and colors of the pieces differ from earlier Sega releases. Fusion drops Tetrominos and Puyos together, and in Swap the two boards switch places every 25 seconds. Two puzzle games in one match still make every duel a swap of styles.
