Is it still worth playing?

You build and run railroads in the United States between 1830 and 1930, in this railroad management simulation from Gaming Minds Studio. You build a large network of lines, buy locomotives to serve cities and industries, growing the cities in the process, and hire personnel for train operations and offices, each with bonuses and personality types. The campaign mostly takes you through the building of the first transcontinental railroad, apart from a mission based on the American Civil War, and you compete against computer controlled rivals. In scenario mode the competitors are playable characters with bonuses, and in free mode the tasks are random and optional, while the sandbox has no tasks. The setting spans five technology eras with over 40 locomotives, and you can sabotage up to three rivals through raids and industrial espionage. Sabotage still makes the network a race.
