Is it still worth playing?

A 2021 first person survival horror game and the sequel to Resident Evil 7, in which Ethan Winters searches a snowbound European village full of werewolf-like creatures for his kidnapped daughter. Five figures rule the village, each over a section of their own, from a castle to a factory and a lake, and each is fought as a boss. It leans more on action than the last game. The creatures, called Lycans, are quick, carry weapons and attack in packs, so you choose between scarce ammunition, fighting hand to hand and running, with barricades to slow them. You still scavenge, fit items into a briefcase by moving and turning them, solve puzzles with keys, and save at typewriters. A merchant called the Duke sells weapons and upgrades and cooks the animals you hunt into dishes that give permanent upgrades. Played now, the variety carries it: every section brings its own enemies, puzzles and boss.
