Is it still worth playing?

Misako and Kyoko fight their way through enemies and obstacles to rescue their kidnapped boyfriends, Kunio and Riki, in this 2019 beat em up from WayForward, a spin off of River City Ransom. You choose one of the two, who play similarly but have their own moves, and two players can play local co-op. Defeated enemies give experience, and every level up unlocks a new move, with more to learn at the dojo. Shops sell items with permanent boosts for cash dropped by enemies. After the last enemy in a group falls, you can grab it and recruit it as an assist character. You are free to return to earlier areas, and the phone map shows where to go next. Two heroes with their own movesets still give a second run a different feel.
