Is it still worth playing?

A real time strategy game for Windows made by the Ukrainian developer GSC Game World and released in November 2000, with an isometric view and a setting in 17th and 18th century Europe. There are sixteen playable nations, each with its own architecture and technologies, and the game is known for having no limit on the number of units you can control. You have to avoid famine, expand your army, build and gather six resources: gold, wood, food, stone, iron and coal. Gold, iron and coal come only from mines, and the cost of a unit or building rises with each one you make. The missions range from the Thirty Years War to the War of the Austrian Succession. A comprehensive encyclopedia lets you learn the history of the period. Huge armies in a period setting still give each battle its scale.
