Is it still worth playing?
A government simulation from Positech Games, released in 2013 as the third game in the Democracy series, in which you become the president or prime minister of a democratic government. You introduce and change policies in seven areas: tax, economy, welfare, foreign policy, transport, law and order, and public services, with sliders for funding, tax levels or regulations. Each policy changes the happiness of voter groups, such as the religious, parents, capitalists, socialists and conservatives, and affects things like crime and air quality. Because every voter belongs to several groups, it is practically impossible to please everyone. Before each election you promise the people two things, and if you have not kept them by the next election, cynicism rises. A country that reacts to every slider still gives each term its own trade offs.
