Is it still worth playing?

A 2010 rhythm game from FreeStyleGames, the sequel to DJ Hero, which uses the same turntable controller to simulate turntablism. You follow actions on the controller in time with scrolling indicators and earn points for performing them correctly. A new freestyle mode lets you crossfade freely between tracks, scratch a section of a mix or add sample effects during marked parts. It has 83 remixes of two songs across many genres, with more as downloadable content, and DJs such as David Guetta, deadmau5 and RZA lent their mixing skills and avatars. You can challenge mixes in Quickplay, progress through them in the single player Empire mode, or play cooperatively or competitively. A third player can join by singing the vocals. The samples are tailored to each track, and scratching is graded on how musical and unique it is.
