Is it still worth playing?

Dirk the Daring crosses a castle to save Princess Daphne from the dragon Singe in this 1983 arcade game, played inside a cartoon drawn by Don Bluth's studio. The picture comes from a laserdisc, and you steer it by moving the joystick or pressing the button when Dirk is in danger. A wrong choice shows him killed by the hazard, and with a split second to react, the game is learned by memorizing what comes next. Many scenes appear in two mirrored versions, and you play both in one run. Behind it is about twenty minutes of animation that cost a million dollars, and some arcades also put a second monitor above the cabinet so people in line could watch. Everything on screen is the original animation, and it still plays as it did in 1983.
