Is it still worth playing?
A freeware brick breaking game for the PC by Michael P. Welch, first released in 1996 and based on an earlier series of Amiga games known as MegaBall. It is patterned after ball and paddle arcade games such as Breakout and Arkanoid, in which you bounce a ball off a paddle to clear a field of bricks. The visual contribution of Seumas McNally helped shape the game, and he went on to make its sequel DX-Ball 2 in 1998 with his family's company. The series later grew with Rival Ball in 2001, Super DX-Ball in 2004 and a 20th anniversary edition of DX-Ball 2 in 2018. A single ball and a paddle make the rules clear in a few seconds.
