Is it still worth playing?

A tactical role playing game developed by Sacnoth for the Neo Geo Pocket Color and published by SNK in 1999 in Japan and in 2000 in the United Kingdom. You play Shotaro Kurosawa, a member of the Faselei mercenary group, hired by a rebel army to overthrow a dictatorship across thirteen story chapters. You control a mecha called a Toy Soldier, with usually one partner driven by the computer, and there are over 20 models to switch between and upgrade. Instead of choosing commands from a menu, each turn you queue actions with program chips in the slots of the mecha's processor, such as moving forward, turning, firing weapons or raising a shield. Your queued actions then play out alongside the enemy's. Programming a few moves ahead still makes each turn a small puzzle.
