Is it still worth playing?

A football game from EA Canada, published by Electronic Arts in 2004, the twelfth in the FIFA series, for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Windows, PSP and others. It was the final game in the series for the PlayStation and the last licensed one released there in North America. The game has 18 leagues, 38 national teams and 11,000 players, and the graphics engine was rewritten. It has a 15 season career mode, a create a player mode and a first touch system for real life tricks and passes. The controls involve complex button combinations with a steep learning curve. Weather can change during a match, and British DJ Paul Oakenfold composed the FIFA theme for it. A long career with a licensed league still makes it a snapshot of football in 2004.
