Cairn is a dark world in a Victorian key where humanity is caught between the Aetherials and the Chthonians, come through portals from other dimensions. It is a 2016 action role playing game for Windows, with an Xbox One version in 2021. It is built on the Titan Quest engine and was funded on Kickstarter in 2012, with 537,515 dollars raised against a goal of 280,000. The game is loot, armor, potions, weapons and money in real time fights, with ten classes paired two to a character, factions whose opinion of you matters, a sky of constellations to light up for skills, and co-op for up to four. The pairing still makes the class two classes, and the sky a skill tree today.
