Is it still worth playing?

In 2032 an Earth that knows only peace, with all weapons destroyed, is forced to relearn war when missiles start coming from a chain of islands in the Pacific. The Antaeus, a warship with a nanotechnological creation engine, is woken to answer them. Behind the attacks is the Cabal, the old world magnates who lost before the peace. This 2001 game for Windows was made by twelve people, with a story by Warren Ellis, after Carrier Command of 1988. You build vehicles aboard the ship from resources and scrap gathered on the islands, fit their weapons, and send them against the enemy's factories, driving any of them yourself or leaving it to a crew: the soul chips, dead pilots' personalities, each with a bonus of its own. The soul chips still give a crew of ghosts with opinions, and a factory ship to build them a body.
