Is it still worth playing?

Juliet Starling, a cheerleader with a chainsaw, fights zombies at a California high school, in this 2012 hack and slash game by Suda51 and the filmmaker James Gunn. Her boyfriend Nick's severed head acts as a magical companion. Zombies that have been beaten groggy can be killed instantly with the chainsaw, and gold medals buy new moves, combos and stat boosts at shops in each level. Killing several zombies at once earns Sparkle Hunting rewards. The seven stages take five to six hours, with unlockables and difficulty settings to encourage replays. The licensed soundtrack includes The Chordettes, Sleigh Bells, Joan Jett and Skrillex, and every boss is tied to a music genre. Among the minigames is a neon maze in the style of Pac-Man. Pop music and comic book colors still give a brief game a strong identity.
