Is it still worth playing?
Mario chisels away at a grid of blocks to reveal a picture, in this 1995 Game Boy puzzle game of nonograms. The numbers along the top and left edges tell you which squares to chisel. Grids are 5 by 5, 10 by 10 or 15 by 15, and each number gives how many squares in that row or column are chiseled, with several numbers meaning separate runs. You can mark a square with a cross to remember it stays empty. Each puzzle has thirty minutes, and a wrong chisel costs two minutes the first time, four the second and eight each time after. Easy Picross has 64 puzzles, and the Kinoko Course and then the Star Course have 64 each. A Time Trial mode with 64 more unlocks at the end. Rows and columns that confirm each other still turn every picture into a logic puzzle.
