Is it still worth playing?
Toy vehicles race around breakfast tables, pool tables and desks in this 1991 top down racing game for the NES, themed on the Micro Machines toys. The vehicles include powerboats, helicopters, formula one cars and tanks that can shoot other racers. Courses have a set path, and leaving it for too long sends you back to the track. Hazards include cereal boxes, honey on a breakfast table that slows racers, and pool table pockets that drop cars and send them out of another. In the Challenge you race three computer drivers and have to finish first or second to qualify for the next round. In head to head, players build a lead so that the other car vanishes off the screen. Nintendo did not license it. Simple arcade controls and a head to head mode make it easy to start today.
