Is it still worth playing?

Shao Kahn has been deposed and Earthrealm is about to get some peace, until the sorcerer Quan Chi frees the fallen Elder God Shinnok. Raiden calls back the fighters who beat Shao Kahn. This was the first Mortal Kombat in 3D, in arcades in 1997 and on the Nintendo 64, PlayStation and Windows in 1998, with a Dreamcast version as Mortal Kombat Gold in 1999. The fighters are polygons but the fight stays on a 2D line, and the new thing is the weapons: a set of button presses draws each character's own. Combos have a Maximum Damage cap, and every fighter has two Fatalities. The roster is an equal mix of new and returning fighters. The weapons still put something sharp in every fighter's hands, in a fight that stays on a line.
