Is it still worth playing?

A 2017 off road simulation and the follow up to Spintires, in which old Soviet trucks haul logs across muddy, unpaved country with only a map and a compass. The mud and water react to every wheel: tracks are carved as you drive, ground you cross again gets softer, tires clog with earth, and river currents can push a truck over. Every truck has a winch, and all wheel drive and a differential lock help but burn more fuel. Fuel stations are few, so a second truck can pull out a stuck one or carry fuel and repairs. On hardcore difficulty you load the logs yourself with a crane, and the checkpoints are vaguer. Watchpoints reveal the map, and exploring unlocks trucks and garages. Up to four can play online. The mud is the reason to play it now, since it changes under every wheel and turns each delivery into a fight with the ground.
