Is it still worth playing?

Sunny, a teenage boy who shuts himself away at home, and Omori, his alter ego in a dream world, are the two sides of this 2020 role playing game. It deals with anxiety, depression and suicide. In the dream world of Headspace, Omori explores with three friends, Aubrey, Kel and Hero; in the real world, Faraway Town, Sunny starts alone. The battles are turn based, and emotions replace the usual status effects: Happy, Sad and Angry each change a character's stats, and each is strong against one of the others. A shared energy bar, which fills as the party takes damage, pays for team attacks after anyone's turn. Exploring is in pixel art and the battles are drawn in colored pencil. Choices at key moments lead to one of several endings, over about 20 hours. The story is the draw today, moving between a cheerful dream and the real world, and from comedy into psychological horror.
