Is it still worth playing?

Ori, a white guardian spirit, sets out to find Ku, a young owl lost in a storm, in this 2020 Metroidvania for Windows and the Xbox One, the sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest. Ori jumps, climbs, glides and swims through the land of Niwen, and new abilities open parts of the map that were closed before. The combat is new too. Instead of the first game's ball of light, Ori now has a light sword, a hammer, a bow and other weapons, each with its own strengths, and they work in the air as well. Shards replace the first game's skill tree and let you equip several perks at once, with more slots as you go. The world has characters with side quests that pay in Spirit Light, which buys upgrades and Shards, and the game saves on its own. The way the map opens up is still the reason to play: each ability Ori finds sends you back through Niwen by a route that was shut.
