Is it still worth playing?

Mail, an elven bounty hunter, goes after the renegade magician Muttonhead, in this 1991 action role-playing platformer from Falcom. Her companions Tatt, an apprentice magician, and Gaw, a bat dragon who jumps very high, join early on, and you can switch between the three at any time. Each has different attacks, armor, walking speed and jump. There are no experience levels, so you earn gold from enemies to buy weapons, armor and healing items. The game has five worlds split into substages, with a world map for revisiting them. The PC versions have anime cutscenes, and later ports went to the Super Famicom, the PC Engine CD and the Sega CD. The Sega CD version was the only one released in English until 2024. Three heroes to switch between at any time still give each world its own way through.
