Is it still worth playing?
A battle mode for up to ten players with multitaps, a story mode and a master mode make up this 1996 Bomberman game for the Sega Saturn. The ten player option limits play to one wide map. There are eight stages with gimmicks such as soccer goals that emit explosions, tornadoes and see saws, and items such as mines that turn invisible once placed. Dinosaur helpers hatch from eggs and grow from babies to adults as you collect power ups, and they take one hit whatever their size. The story mode, for one or two players, has Mujoe's gang awaken a sealed monster in a tower, and White and Black Bomberman collect crystals to seal it away. It has anime style cutscenes and voices. The master mode is a tower of 20 floors that ranks you on your time. A battle mode that fits up to ten players still gives it something to bring a group to.
