A tag team fighting game built around the Skull Heart, an artifact that grants wishes to women, in this 2012 2D fighter from Reverge Labs. Story mode has you control one fighter, while every other mode lets you pick one, two or three characters, with their strength scaled to match. Super moves, called Blockbusters, use a single 90 degree motion and two punches or kicks. When an opponent repeats the same combo section, you can press any button for a breakaway that knocks them back, which offers a way out of infinite combo loops. A tutorial explains mix ups, throws and offensive and defensive play. Online play uses GGPO netcode. The art style is dark deco, with sharp animation. Simpler inputs and a way out of long combos still make it a friendly place to learn fighting games.
